Acadia Downeast Maine Rental: a two bedroom one bath. The bottom floor of large farm house overlooking the harbor. Lawn overlooks the working harbor. Bedrooms are large with 1 king sized bed, one double bed and one futon. Has a full kitchen with all cooking utensils, coffee pot, and microwave. Utilities included, plus cable and VCR, dish washer, washer & dryer, all the pots and pans and silverware, icemaker, outside patio, gas grill, and awning. This rental is very clean and nice.Short walk to the shore to three well known seafood restaurants, fishing off the dock, and a lobster pound with live or fresh cooked lobster.

Smallidge Cottage is located in the town of Mount Desert, Maine. Activities such as hiking, kayaking, and sightseeing, and tours of the island by sea and air are yours to choose ! Points of interest like the

Bass Harbor Lighthouse, Acadia National Park, and Bar Harbor shops and eating establishments are within a thirty minute drive or less.

The cottage is in a prime location on Mount Desert Island, close enough to the quiet side, and just a short drive ( about 25 minutes ) to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Kayaking and Canoeing launch points (From Long Pond and Bartlett’s landing) are less than ten minutes !
