Our cabin offers easy access to all of your favorite outdoor activities and a comfortable place to relax. The nearby area offers:  • Hiking-Appalachian Trail and Moxie Falls(90 feet high) • Water Sports- Wyman Lake- 13 miles of beautiful lake that offers all types of water activities and boasts 5 different types of cold water game fish • Fly-fishing- Great opportunities in hidden streams and ponds • Nature Walks- 121 species of birds, including the Bald Eagle. Wildflowers and berries are abundant during the spring and summer. Fall foliage is magnificent in late September and October. • Photography Opportunities- moose, white tailed deer, rabbits, fox, wild turkey, etc. • White Water Rafting- The center for rafting in eastern United States • Hunting- Moose, white tailed deer, rabbits, fox, wild turkey, etc. • Biking-16 mile loop trail that follows the Kennebec River in nearby Bingham • Golf and Summer Theater in Skowhegan • Easy Day Trips - - Indian Petroglyphs - Emden - Moosehead Lake - Wyman Dam- Bingham - Benedict Arnold Trail- Caratunk - “Gadabout” Gaddis Airport-Bingham - Quebec City (three hours away) Our comfortable log cabin has three bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas range, refrigerator and microwave. There is a monitor heater and a gas grill for outdoor barbecues. The cozy living-dining room area has a TV monitor and a good supply of DVDs and videos. The bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet There are three bedrooms: one queen size bed, one double, and two twins. The futon on the porch will become a single bed. Check in time is at 3 PM. Otherwise, 50% of payment is due at time of reservation and balance due 60 days before arrival date. Check in time 3PM- Check out 11AM. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, paper goods, pillows, blankets, DVD player, stereo, outdoor fireplace, etc. Wyman Lake is within walking distance for boating and swimming. Information on white water rafting companies is available at the cabin. • Occupancy is a maximum of six people. • No smoking inside of cabin. Fire safety is a prime concern. • For insurance purposes, the wood stove is unusable. The stovepipe is blocked. Monitor heat and gas grill are available. • A well-behaved pet will be considered. Telephone is available for local calls, but a phone card is necessary for long distance. The cabin phone number is 207-672-3632. Cell phones do not work in this area.
